Employment history:
Gunnar Crantz has been a violinist in the Swedish Radio’s Symphony Orchestra, soloist and concertmaster in the Cologne Chamber Orchestra, soloist and concertmaster in the Stockholm Ensemble.
He has been a teacher and a conductor at the Moorhead University, Minnesota U.S.A., a teacher at the Adelaide University, Australia and he has taught violin at the College of Music in Örebro.
He has also appeared as a soloist together with orchestras in Scandinavia and the rest of Europe. He has worked a lot with chamber music primarily for violin and piano but also piano trios, string quartets and other types of ensembles.
Gunnar has played contemporary music at a number of festivals and as a member of the Maros Ensemble. He has toured around Europe, in North and South America, Australia and East Asia.
