Harald Thedéen about the Falun Conservatory of Music:

Over a long period of time I, the undersigned, have been a Professor and senior teacher of violin for soloists as well as pedagogues at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.

During this time the Falun Conservatory of Music has proved its significance as a preparatory education for applicants to colleges of music in Sweden. The Conservatory of Music serves as an extraordinarily important link between the upper secondary schools and the colleges of music.

In past years it has contributed to a very high proportion of the flow of talented string musicians to the colleges of music. Therefore, I heartily appeal to everyone to give this unique institution all the endorsement and financial backing it deserves.
