Kjell-Inge Stevensson about the Falun Conservatory of Music:

I have had the pleasure of visiting the Falun Conservatory of Music on two different occasions. The first time I worked with the clarinet students in master classes. Then I met all the students and told them about my experiences as a musician, described and demonstrated some general dynamics exercises and presented a short introduction to a repertoire from the late 20th century.

On this occasion I also performed a Stravinsky programme. With special pleasure I remember how my ideas were received with openness and curiosity.

My lasting impression is that this school offers a creative and inspiring environment for music students going through what might be the most significant phase of development prior to a professional future.
