Sölve Klingstedt about the Falun Conservatory of Music.

During my time as a senior teacher of clarinet at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm I had the privilege of visiting the Falun Conservatory of Music as a guest lecturer on several occasions.

Each visit left me with a very good impression of the school; focused students and dedicated teachers. The training at the Falun Conservatory of Music fills the gap between the municipal music school and music college. This school is a ‘must’ for those who want to continue studying music.

My experience from the entrance examinations (clarinet) at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm is that students trained with you in Falun always performed very well and in most cases were accepted to the college.
