Leo Berlin about the Falun Conservatory of Music:

During my active time as a teacher at the Royal College of Music we observed that most of our students had received their basic training at the Falun Conservatory of Music. Over the years, the leading position of the school has become permanent owing to its extraordinarily competent teachers and their ability to inspire the students to constructive, purposeful music studies. At a recent visit as a guest lecturer in Falun I experienced the fine atmosphere at the school and the good rapport between teachers and students. The violinists who I heard playing an advanced repertoire displayed high playing standards in combination with very good training. I wish the headmaster and all the teaching staff continuous success in their truly important work for Swedish music culture.
